realme 9 5G with 6.5″ FHD+ 90Hz display, Dimensity 810, 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at an introductory price of Rs. 14999

realme just launched realme 9 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and an 16-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, same as the realme 8s. It has up to 6GB of RAM with Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) technology, which can add up to 5GB to the existing 8GB RAM. Along with the Redmi Note 11 Pro series phones, Xiaomi under its Redmi brand also launched the Redmi Watch 2 Lite, as it had announced. The smartwatch packs a 1.55-inch LCD screen, supports 100+ workout modes, has GPS, feature 5 ATM water resistance, Heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, mensural cycle tracking and promises up to 10 days of battery life. Redmi Note 11 Pro with 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Helio G96, 108MP camera launched in India at an introductory staring price of Rs. 17999

At its event, Xiaomi under its Redmi brand launched its Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G smartphone as the successor to last year’s Redmi Note 10 Pro phone. The phone has a 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay with a 16MP camera inside the punch-hole, is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, and has liquid cooling. The phone has a 108MP rear camera, 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Apple introduces iPad Air (5th Gen) with 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display, M1 chip, 5G support; India price starts at Rs. 54900

Apple today introduced its new iPad Air (5th Gen) at its online event, as expected. It features the same 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, integrated Touch ID sensor in the top button, but this replaces the A14 Bionic 5nm Chip in the predecessor with the Apple M1 chip, same as the iPad Pro and also adds 5G option, compared to 4G in the predecessor. Apple introduces new iPhone SE with 4.7-inch HD Retina Display, A15 Bionic and 5G support; India price starts at Rs. 43900

Apple just announced the new iPhone SE, the company’s latest smaller iPhone, as expected. The successor to the older iPhone SE that was introduced back in 2020 comes with a 4.7-inch HD Retain screen with Haptic Touch and still retains the Touch ID fingerprint sensor below the display. However, this replaces the A13 Bionic with the A15 Bionic and also adds 5G support. India Smart TV market records highest-ever 55% YoY growth in 2021: Report

According to the latest analysis from Counterpoint’s IoT Service, India’s TV sales increased 48% year-on-year in Q4 2021 (December quarter) and 24% year-on-year in 2021. The smart TV market expanded even faster, by 55% year-on-year in 2021 and 65% year-on-year in Q4 2021, to reach its highest-ever calendar year shipments.
