PopCap games announced back in August 2012 that a Plants vs. Zombies sequel would be released in Spring 2013. But there was no sign of it. Now PopCap has officially announced a sequel Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time would launch in July 2013. The first Plants vs. Zombies game was one of the popular games in various platforms including iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and more. Gameloft has released a teaser for their upcoming game Gangstar Vegas. It is an open-world action game, just like the GTA franchise. Rockstar games released the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City game for Android and iOS last year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of game, and the Grand Theft Auto III was released back in 2011. Gameloft released the Iron Man 3 game for Android and iOS recently as a free game, but this is likely to be released as at a premium price just like GTA.

Rovio has announced that the most popular Angry Birds game would be available for Windows Phone devices for free till 15th May 2013. The Angry Birds game for Windows Phone 8 has over 400 levels and has Xbox Live integration with new achievements and leaderboards! Amazing Alex is the latest game from Rovio to arrive for Windows Phone 8 devices. Both the Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Space were released for Windows Phone devices last year. Rovio has released the Angry Birds Friends for Android, iPhone and iPad as they announced last month. Angry Birds Friends was released on Facebook last year. It has new weekly tournaments that would let you win bronze, silver and gold crown on the levels, play new weekly levels and earn power-ups through tournament mode. There are also daily rewards and option to send and receive gifts of power-ups with your friends. You can also share details about your accomplishments with friends. In this game you play as the billionaire Tony Stark / Iron Man who fights A.I.M. forces around the world to prevent their dark schemes from succeeding. ZeptoLab, the creators of popular game Cut the Rope has launched the Cut the Rope: Time Travel a new game in the Cut the Rope series. In this game Om Nom stumbles upon a time travel machine and is using it to go back in time and discover his roots, teaming up with his candy-chomping kin along the way. Cut the Rope was first launched in October 2010, Cut the Rope Experiments was launched for iPhone and iPad on August 2011, which was released on Android last March. Along with the Temple Run, host of new games including Gravity Guy 2, sequel to the Gravity Guy, 6th Planet, Propel Man, Fling Theory Orcs Must Survive and Drift Mania Championship 2 are available for Windows Phone 8 devices. Tic Tac Mo for iPhone from the developer First Medical Imaging is the classic Tic Tac Toe game with new features. This lets you play the game with up to three friends, where the 3 players use the symbols X, O, and Y. Users will first select the number of live players in the game. They have the option of either facing up to two other live players, or going against the computer.

The Dark Knight Rises game was released for Android, iPhone and iPad back in July last year. As you all know The Dark Knight Rises is based on the Batman movie franchise.
