Facebook has started rolling out Like button sticker for the Android and iOS apps in Messaging. This works on both Facebook app and the separate Facebook Messenger app. This lets you send a quick Thumbs Up symbol to others in on tap quickly. This would be definitely useful to quickly reply with a Like button instead of a long message to accept something. Facebook says that this feature is part of a recent update, according to Techcrunch. Instagram for Android and iPhone updated with Video support

Facebook has updated the Instagram app for Android and iPhone to version 4.0 that brings support for Videos. This lets you record a video up to 15 seconds on the Instagram camera by clicking the movie camera icon and pressing the record button. You can add filters and upload it. There are 13 filters built specifically for video, and you can also select your favorite scene from the recorded video as your cover image that can be viewed when they’re not playing. Air Camera + Live Streaming for Camera and Voice is an app for iPhone and iPad that lets you stream live sound and image from iOS devices directly from the camera and microphone input to your Apple TV. This uses AirPlay feature in the iOS to connect to the Apple TV.  In addition this also lets you add effects to the streaming video and also switch between the front and rear camera. Rovio, the creators of the popular Angry Birds franchise has published Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage through Rovio Stars, the new mobile game publishing program. It is  a new adventure based on the award-winning flash game developed by UK-based studio Nitrome and is built using native iOS languages rather than the flash. In Icebreaker, You play as lone icebreaker apprentice and need to save your fellow vikings by cutting through tangles of ice, ropes, traps, troll snot and chicken. Facebook v6.2 update for iPhone and iPad brings icons with action status updates

You might have noticed the icon with action status on the Facebook for desktop. The Facebook app for iPhone and iPad has been updated to version 6.2 that brings option to share you mood using icons along with an action you are doing in your status. This update also brings option to easily change who can see something you’ve shared which would let you keep the shared items within a group and start a new conversation with photos. This feature was introduced for Android in the 3.3 update last week. The Android app did not get the new action and icon status updates yet. 2K and Firaxis Games have announced the XCOM: Enemy Unknown for  iOS devices. It is an award winning turn-based tactical role-playing video game  the is already available for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and recently launched for Mac OS X. The game has been optimized for the touch interface of iOS devices.It comes with GameCenter support and utilizes iCloud functionality that would let players save games across their iOS devices. iOS 7 game controller for iPhone surfaces

First image of the iPhone controller has surfaced online. Apple announced the support API for 3rd-party MFi game controllers at the end of the iOS 7 demo at the WWDC earlier this month. Kotaku who managed to get an image of the controller reveals that the controller would be made by Logitech. It adds that the controller is large enough to fit an iPhone 5. It also has a lightning port, 4-way controller on the left and D-Pad on the right side. Yahoo has updated the Sports app to version 4.0 on Android and iOS that brings iPad support, new design and lots more new features. The app is faster and easier to scan, navigate and consume and the extra screen space lets you read an articles while keeping an eye on the scores. Microsoft has launched the Office Mobile app for iPhone finally. This app is for Office 365 subscribers and the subscribers access, view and edit your Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint documents from your iPhone. You can also access document stored in the cloud on SkyDrive, SkyDrive Pro, or SharePoint. Apple has finally announced the iOS7, the most expected iOS update at the WWDC 2013. It is the successor of the iOS 6 that was released last year. Google announced a new update for Gmail app for Android, iPhone and iPad last week. The Gmail app version 4.5 for Android started rolling out for Android earlier this week, now the update is available for iPhone and iPad. The Gmail version 2.3 for the iPhone and iPad brings new Inbox with tabs with categories such as Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums, new notifications options that lets you customize notifications and more. Gmail for iOS was updated recently that let use open links from Gmail in Google apps such as Chrome, Google Maps or YouTube. Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time trailer released, coming exclusively to iPhone and iPad in July


PopCap games announced back in August 2012 that a Plants vs. Zombies sequel would be released in Spring 2013. The company teased the game last month calling it Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time and saying that the game would be available in July 2013. Now the game trailer is finally here. The game would have new worlds with new levels, plants, zombies and new ways to play added gradually.  Check out the official game trailer below.
