Disney has tied up with Japan’s LINE Corporation to launch the popular Disney Tsum Tsum puzzle game globally. This was published by LINE in Japan last year and holds the number 1 free app spot on both iOS and Android in Japan. Disney has also launched stackable Tsum Tsum toys in select stores in North America and at Disney Parks. Last year Gameloft teamed up with LINE to launch LINE Let’s Golf game. Adobe released Lightroom mobile, a companion app to the Lightroom desktop software for iPad back in April, now the company has released the app for iPhone users. In addition it also released three new apps – Sketch, Line and Photoshop Mix for the iPad. The company also began shipping new creative hardware called Adobe Ink, a new digital pen, and Adobe Slide, a new digital ruler that are sold together priced at US$199.99.
Facebook has revamped its iPad app with various features and focus on games. For starters, the app gets sidebar similar to the web which helps content discovery of games and other entertainment apps.

Evernote has updated its Skitch for iPhone and iPad to version 3.2. The new version brings up a major redesign to the app. You can now swipe to pick the content you want to annotate, easily preview different tabs that you want to markup, faster annotation and just swipe to share. Apple is about to make the Smart Cover on iPad even smarter. The company has filed for a patent that will show notifications on the on the Smart Cover itself. This will enable users to check their notification like email, SMS and other alerts without opening the screen.

Rovio has released a new update for Angry Birds Space that brings 40 new levels and several new features. This is the biggest update since the launch of the game 2 years back, says Rovio. This also adds new bonus levels, new vehicles such as Orion Crew Vehicle, OSIRIS-REx, Deep Impact and Dawn spacecraft, new Asteroids and Buzz Aldrin bird, named after the Apollo 11 moonwalker for ultimate destruction. PQI, one of the popular media storage peripheral brand has unveiled Gmobi iStick, a OTG storage device developed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with lightning connectors at the Computex 2014 in Taipei. This device would be developed by California-based Sanho that has raised around US$859,000 on KickStarter campaign. PQI will distribute the device in Taiwan. KeyPoint Technologies, popular for Adaptxt Keyboard is bringing its keyboard to iOS devices. Apple opened up the iOS 8 to third-party keyboard developers. Swiftkey, Swype and Fleksy that are popular on Android devices had already announced that they would bring their keyboards to iOS. At the WWDC 2014 event in San Franscisco, Apple made a number of announcements that were improvements to the iOS and OS X platforms.
