We earlier told you about Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop having talk with Steve Ballmer of Microsoft and Eric Schmidt of Google. Nokia went official on their partnership with Microsoft but the source mentioned that the Android deal fell through. Rumours have been going around that Nokia and Microsoft are coming together into a partnership to combat Google’s Android OS and Apple’s iPhone.
HTC is one of the major phone companies taking part in the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2011 to be held in Barcelona from 14th to 17th February. The company’s Facebook page states that they are about to announce something big on 14th February.
Olive Telecom has kept it’s promise of delivering an Android smart phone for India. The company today announced the launch of the OliveSmart VS300 which happens to be India’s first HSPA+ phone and also the first phone to launch with the latest version of Android – 2.3 Gingerbread.
