Nokia announced the Nokia 220, an affordable phone along with the Nokia X series last month at the MWC 2014. The Nokia X was launched in India earlier this month. Now the Nokia 220 Dual SIM is available for purchase in India from the official Nokia Store. It has a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixel) LCD screen with keypad, 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and 2G support. It has Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, FM Radio, Flashlight and a 1100 mAh battery. Micromax partners with Aircel and MediaTek for bundled offers on smartphones and tablets

Micromax has partnered with Aircel and MediaTek to offer data and other benefits with Micromax devices including smartphones and tablets powered by MediaTek chips, Micromax dongle and data-enabled feature phones. These offers would be initially available across four Micromax devices – MMX 377G data card, Funbook Mini 410i tablet, A090 and X070 smartphones. These include data benefits for all these devices, cheaper local and STD call rates and WAP content worth Rs. 10,000 with these phones and the tablet. The Xperia E1 dual went on sale in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,400, now the Xperia E1 is now available from online retailer Infibeam for Rs. 8,980. It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Karbonn today launched Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane Plus smartphones with MediaTek MT6592 Octa-core chips along with the Titanium Hexa. The Karbonn Titanium Octane has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display and the Octane Plus has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display. Both these smartphones run on the Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. The Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus would compete with the recently launched Micromax Canvas Knight A350 that has similar features. The phone has appeared on the official website and packs a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS (Low temperature polysilicon) type display, powered by 1.5 GHz hexa-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and packs a 2050 mAh battery. Detailed specifications of the phone such as RAM and memory are not available yet. Karbonn launched the Titanium X with a 5-inch 1080p display recently.
