TECNO has introduced the MEGAPAD Pro, the company’s latest tablet, at the IFA 2025.
Display and Sound Experience
It has a 12-inch 2K display with up to 450 nits of brightness, 90Hz refresh rate and 86% screen-to-body ratio. It has low blue light certification, said the company.
The tablet has surround sound experience with four Dolby speakers, and comes with an optional TECNO keyboard. It packs a 10,000mAh battery that allows for up to 8 hours of usage.
AI features
The MEGAPAD Pro is equipped with a suite of AI features aimed at boosting efficiency. A dedicated AI key provides instant access to the TECNO Ella Assistant, which supports various tasks including AI writing, social media management, and video conferencing.
The AI Drawing Board converts handwritten notes into smart images, while the Smart Scanner quickly handles document scanning and AR measurements. Additionally, the device’s Smart Text Recognition allows users to quickly extract information from documents.
For students, these features are intended to streamline study processes, improve note-taking, and help with information organization. For professionals, the tablet’s capabilities, such as real-time translation in over 50 languages and AI Noise Cancellation, aim to simplify cross-border collaboration and remote work. The tablet’s ultra-slim design also makes it convenient for travel.
Integrated Ecosystem Connectivity
The MEGAPAD Pro supports TECNO’s OneLeap technology, enabling it to connect with other TECNO smartphones and PCs. Users can share files, use the tablet as a secondary screen, and manage multiple devices at once. This functionality is presented as a benefit for professionals who require seamless cross-device collaboration.
The “Tablet & Phone Mirroring” feature allows users to mirror their phone screen on the tablet, enabling them to handle messages and stream content on the larger display. Files can be shared instantly, and the tablet can be used for presentations and meetings with other TECNO devices.
