Sony just announced Xperia XZ, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a fingerprint sensor on the power button, packs a 23-megapixel rear camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus that lets you choose your subject and then predicts its motion, so you can capture the action in perfect focus, free from blur and 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 22mm wide-angle lens, similar to the Xperia X. Sony Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact confirmed on official site, specs surface

Image of Sony Xperia X Compact was revealed by @evleaks yesterday. Both Xperia X Compact and Xperia XZ had surfaces on Sony’s Mobile’s Czech website, later it was removed. According to the translation reveals that the Xperia XZ have a good camera and the Xperia X Compact will let you shoot blur-free images and it will have a compact site.

Sony confirms Android 7.0 Nougat update for Xperia X series, Z5 series and more

Google started rolling out Android 7.0 update for Nexus devices starting from this week. HTC was the first company to confirm Android Nougat update for some of its devices. Now Sony Mobile has confirmed Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for a range of smartphones. It doesn’t mention the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 range, so it is not clear if these devices will get the update. Sony says that it has been working hard to bring the major update to as many of the devices as possible, so we can expect more devices to be added in the future. Sony recently scheduled an event on September 7th in New York to introduce a new PlayStation console with faster processor, improved graphics and 4K support. This is said to be called the PlayStation 4 Neo. Now images of a new slim PlayStation console has surfaced in an online auction that is said to be called the PlayStation 4 slim. According to WSJ, this will be unveiled along with the PS4 Neo next month.
