OnePlus offers 3 months extended warranty in India to compensate users with service issues

OnePlus has announced that all service related issues on smartphones till date and henceforth pending for more than 15 working days at service centres will automatically get a 3 months extended warranty in India. This will be applicable on the OnePlus One and all future smartphones and is also applicable for all Indian users who had purchased the One from oneplus.net prior to the India launch. OnePlus slashed the price of OnePlus One smartphone in a experimental flash sale last week. Today the company has announced that it is slashing the price of both the 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black variants permanently, which now cost $249 and $299, respectively. OnePlus has finally launched the Bamboo StyleSwap Cover for the OnePlus smartphone. It was introduced last year and is damp-proof, flame retardant and scratch resistant. Each Bamboo StyleSwap Cover is one of a kind, complete with its own distinct set of fibers, nodes, and colors. The production time involves 21 days and 28 different procedures which include drying, carbonising, polishing and laser cut finishing to finally carve it into place, said the company. According to a new Geekbench results page, the OnePlus Two might just have been benchmarked on the application. OnePlus had previously asked users what price they would expect for the OnePlus Two if it had a Snapdragon 810 processor powering it.
