OnePlus just announced the OnePlus X smartphone at simultaneous events worldwide. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display, is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Oxygen OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a brushed anodized metal frame and comes in Onyx version with glass back and limited edition ceramic variant. OnePlus sends invites for the OnePlus X launch in India on October 29th

We already know that OnePlus is holding simultaneous launch events for the OnePlus X launch in New Delhi, New York, San Fransico, London, Beijing, and Jakarta on October 29th. Today the company has started sending out invites for the launch of the OnePlus X smartphone in New Delhi on October 29th at 1:30 PM. The invite is similar to the global invite with letter ‘X’ created by two lights.

OnePlus introduces two extended service plans for OnePlus 2 in India

OnePlus has introduced extended service plans, B2X Service and B2X Protect for the OnePlus 2. Every OnePlus 2 smartphone comes with manufacturer’s warranty for the device for up to a year from the date of purchase. The new B2X Service plan cover all defects that are covered under manufacturer’s warranty for another more year after the expiry of the original manufacturer’s warranty for the device and the B2X Protect service covers accidental, physical & liquid damage to OnePlus 2 during the first year of the product purchase, says the company. OnePlus X specs confirmed by TENAA, reveals 3GB RAM and 8MP front camera

Image of the upcoming OnePlus X smartphone with the model number One E1001 already appeared on TENAA listing, now the specifications of the smartphone has surfaced on TENAA (Via). This confirms 5-inch 1080p display and  2GHz quad-core processor, which is likely to be Snapdragon 801 and not the MediaTek Helio X10 as rumored earlier. It also confirms 13-megapixel rear camera, but it mentions only 1080p video recording and not 4K. It also reveals that the smartphone will feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

OnePlus One E1005 passed through the FCC recently, now a new OnePlus smartphones with the model numbers One E1003 and One E1001 have surfaced on AnTuTu. Both the smartphones have the same specifications. This reveals the same 5-inch 1080p display as revealed in the One E1005 model, but these smartphones are powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor, similar to the first OnePlus One smartphone, compared to the MediaTek Helio X10 SoC as per earlier rumors. The OnePlus 2 went on sale in India back in August for Rs. 24,999 and is currently available for purchase only with invites on Amazon. OnePlus has partnered with Blowhorn, a Bengaluru-based intra-city logistics marketplace startup, to deliver OnePlus One smartphones in just 60 minutes of the order. If the handset is not delivered to the doorstep in 60 minutes the customer gets the phone for free, says the company.
