Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro with next-gen Tensor SoC teased ahead of launch

After rumours, Google has officially confirmed the launch of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones later this fall. The company has also confirmed the design of the phones in images, and also said that these will use next-generation Tensor SoC and will run Android 13 out of the box. Google Pixel 6a with 6.1″ FHD+ OLED display, Google Tensor SoC, IP67 water resistant body announced; Coming to India later this year

Google just announced the Pixel 6a at its Google I/O event, as expected. The phone comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display, is powered by Google Tensor SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA and comes with Titan M2 Security chip. These run Android 12, and will receive security updates for at least 5 years, but OS updates is at 3 years, same as Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Google Translate adds 24 new languages including Assamese, Bhojpuri, Konkani and Sanskrit

At the Google I/O, the company announced that it has added 24 languages to Google Translate, now supporting a total of 133 used around the globe. The company said that over 300 million people speak these newly added languages in India, Africa, Nepal and more. Android 13 beta for Google TV released

After launching Android 13 beta 1 for supported Pixel smartphones last month, Google has begun sending out the first beta of Android TV 13 to developers to get them started with the firm’s latest TV platform. The Android 13 TV doesn’t quite visually differ significantly from the Android TV 12. Mishaal Rahman, Esper’s Senior Technical Editor, says that the first beta update doesn’t include features that have already been revealed, like a better picture-in-picture mode or Fast Pair integration.
