Microsoft sues Kyocera over Android patent infringement

Microsoft has filed a patent lawsuit against Kyocera alleging that the Japanese electronics maker infringed some of Microsoft’s mobile phone patents, according to a report by Reuters.

Microsoft to discontinue support for Google and Facebook Chat on Outlook.com

Microsoft will discontinue support for Facebook Chat and Google Chat in Outlook.com. In an email to Outlook.com customers, Microsoft said it is removing Google Talk integration “due to Google’s decision to discontinue the chat protocol used by the Google Talk platform.”.

Microsoft Office for iOS and web gets third party cloud storage integration

Microsoft has updated its Office app on iOS and web to make it easier for cloud services to integrate with the suite. Outlook now supports third-party storage providers that integrate their service into the Office apps for iOS via an open API.
