Google today said that Google Search app will now understand more complex queries. It can now break down a query to understand the semantics of each piece. The app is starting to truly understand the meaning of what you’re asking, said the company. Google introduced voice search in 2008, and the Knowledge Graph in 2012. Yahoo has signed a deal with Google to provide search ads. The deal builds on an existing search partnership with Microsoft under which Yahoo gets a percentage of revenue from ads displayed on its sites.
Google has announced that it will now begin indexing content from iOS apps in mobile search results. The move comes from the company a month after it started suggesting users install Android apps right from its search results.
