Kerala Floods: Airtel offers free Talk Time credit, 1GB mobile data and more

Airtel today announced that it is offering free advance Talk Time credit,  1 GB mobile data and more for prepaid mobile customer in Kerala, which has been affected by floods due to unprecedented rains. It will also deploy VSAT at five major relief centers to provide free Wi-Fi and calling.

Airtel increases data capacity to Europe, Africa via Telecom Egypt deal

Airtel and Telecom Egypt have announced a strategic partnership, wherein, Airtel will get IRUs (Indefeasible Right of Use) on Middle East North Africa Submarine Cable (MENA Cable) and TE North Cable Systems. Airtel will also take large capacities on a long-term basis on two new state-of-the-art Cable Systems (SMW5 & AAE1).
