Micromax has launched Canvas Selfie, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, similar to the HTC Desire Eye. It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a Sony sensor. Other features include, 4.7-inch HD display, 1.7 GHz True Octa-Core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, dual SIM support and 3G connectivity. Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax launched the phone with the IPTL stars Sania Mirza, Ana Ivanovic, Kristina Mladenovic and Daniela Hantuchova. LG launched the LG G3 Beat smartphone in India at Rs. 25,000 back in September. We brought you the review of LG G3 Beat recently. Here we have the battery test results of the smartphone. The LG G3 Beat  has a 2540mAh removable Lithium Polymer battery, compared to 3,000mAh battery on the LG G3. Lenovo has launched TAB S8, the company’s latest top-end tablet in the S series with voice calling capabilities exclusively on Flipkart. It was announced at the IFA 2014 back in September and packs a 8-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) full HD display based on one-glass-solution technology , powered by a quad-core Intel Atom (Z3745) processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. Acer Liquid Jade and Triple SIM Liquid E700 launched in India for Rs. 16999 and Rs. 11999

Acer has launched Liquid Jade and Liquid E700, the company’s latest smartphones in the Liquid series in India. The Liquid Jade has a has a 5-inch HD IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Liquid E700 too comes with a 5-inch HD display. Both these are powered by a quad-core processors and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The Liquid Jade has a 13-megapixel rear camera with 0.3s focus time, F1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S will be back on sale in India on Dec 8 without registration

Xiaomi Redmi Note went on sale earlier this week on December 2nd, and it sold out in 6 seconds in the first flash sale. Xiaomi usually stops selling the earlier models temporarily to concentrate more on the new model. Now the company has decided to bring back the Redmi 1S, at least for a day. Huawei launched the Honor Holly smartphone exclusively on Flipkart back in October at a competitive price tag of Rs. 6,999. We reviewed the smartphone recently and found it a decent package in the price range. Today Huawei has announced that it will sell 12,000 units of Honor Holly smartphone on December 8th on Flipkart. The company said that it sold 10,000 units of Holly smartphones  in 10 hours when it went on sale yesterday (December 4th). Xolo Omega 5.0 Benchmarks

Xolo launched the Omega 5.0 smartphone for Rs. 8,999 earlier today. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone. Here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a  Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor with 8 ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs clocked at 1.36 GHz per core. It has a Mali 450-MP4 GPU, comes with a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HIVE UI on top. The CPU supports Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP), where all the core can be turned on at the same time. Check out the synthetic benchmark results below.
