Renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series surfaced in September. At that time, it was also revealed that the S22 will come with a 6.06-inch screen and the S22+ will come with a 6.55-inch screen. Now the detailed camera specifications of the smartphones have surfaced, thanks to leaker Ice Universe.

- Main camera: 50MP 1/1.57″ 1um ISOCELL GN5 sensor, f/1.8 aperture
- Ultra-wide angle: 12MP 1/2.55″ 1.4um f/2.2 aperture
- Telephoto: 10MP 1/3.94″ 1um f/2.4 aperture, 3X zoom
- Front camera: 10MP 1/3.24″ 1.22um f/f2.2 aperture
Even though it is not mentioned, the main and the telephoto camera should come with OIS support.
Based on earlier rumours, the S22 is said to measure 146×70×7.6mm and weigh 167 grams, making it a compact smartphone. The S22+ is said to measure 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6mm~9.1mm (including the camera bump). The renders showed a flat display and smaller bezels for both the phones.
Based on earlier rumours, the S22 is said to come with 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging and the S22+ could pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
The Samsung S22 series is expected launch launch globally on February 8, and go on sale on February 18.
