Reliance Jio announced the JioPhone Next, the company’s ultra-affordable Android smartphone in partnership with Google, back in June. At that time, it didn’t reveal its specifications. Now the specifications of the phone has surfaced through the software. It is also said to come with a newer version of Google Camera Go preinstalled with the Snapchat integration that will let you Indian-specific Snapchat Lenses directly accessible from the camera, as announced at the event. There is also a boot animation that shows JioPhone Next “Created with Google.” branding.

As far as specifications, the boot animation reveals HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels)  resolution screen, but the screen size is not available yet. This also reveals that it will feature 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm 215 Mobile Platform with support for Dual-SIM Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2. It will come with a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 rear camera sensor and a 8MP front camera with GalaxyCore GC8034W sensor.

It should support 1080p video recording since the chip supports it. The company already said that it will have HDR support. The phone might come with 2GB or 3GB RAM. The battery details are not available yet.

Reliance Jio already confirmed that the JioPhone Next will go on sale in the country from Ganesh Chaturthi, 10th September, so we should know the official specifications and the price of the phone sometime early September.
