Samsung M7 and M5 ‘Do-It-All’ Smart Monitor with built-in Microsoft 365 suite launched in India


Samsung has launched their M7 and M5 smart monitors in India, starting at Rs. 21000. These sleek “Do-It-All” displays have built-in Microsoft 365 apps, support for Samsung Dex, Screen Mirroring, Apple AirPlay 2, along with several OTT apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV and more.

Samsung first introduced the Smart Monitors back in November 2020, with the of providing a productivity device that can work independently without needing a PC, thanks to its support for Microsoft 365 apps. The monitor is also designed to be an entertainment hub with its Smart Hub features, which gives users access to various OTT platforms. It even supports Samsung Dex, which can turn any Galaxy smartphone or tablet into a portable Android desktop, complete with a desktop UI.

They have 3-side borderless displays with Flicker Free technology and Eye Saver Mode for better eye comfort during long viewing sessions. Samsung has also integrated support for voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing users to control them easily with their voice.

The Samsung Smart Monitor comes in two models – a 32-inch Ultra-HD model with the name M7 and the Full-HD M5 model that comes in 32-inch and 27-inch sizes.

They are available for purchase on Samsung’s online store for a starting price of Rs. 28000, however as an introductory offer, they currently start at Rs. 21999 for the 27″ M5 model. The 32″ M5 model costs Rs. 24,999 and the M7 32″ UHD 4K model costs Rs. 36,999.
