Details about the Galaxy S21 FE surfaced in a roadmap for upcoming Samsung launches last month. Now the CAD-based renders of the phone has surfaced that reveals a similar design as the S21 series phones with a camera bump. However, the camera bump in the phone is integrated and protrudes directly from the rear panel.
The phone is said to feature a 6.4-inch flat display with a punch-hole camera, which should a Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is said to measure 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9~9.3mm (with camera bump), which is larger than the Galaxy S21: 4mm taller, 3.3mm wider but it has the same thickness. It is said to come with a frosted glasstic back.
The triple rear cameras could be downgraded, so it might lose the 64MP Telephoto lens to cut the cost, but we have to wait to find if this will use the same Exynos 2100 / Snapdragon 888 SoC as the S21 series.
The Galaxy S20 FE was introduced on September 23rd last year. Based on the earlier rumours, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be introduced at the Unpacked event tentatively scheduled on August 19th.
