Redmi K20 Pro Carbon Black Photo Gallery


Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Redmi series in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the Flame Red version, benchmarks and gaming review of the device, and here we have Redmi K20 Pro Indian retail unit in Carbon Black color. The phone features a 6.39-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Horizon AMOLED display with support for HDR and DCI-P3 color gamut and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 1.85mm side, 2.1mm top, and 3.8mm bottom bezels, which looks good, even in bright sunlight since it offers up to 600 nits brightness in high brightness mode.

There is a small earpiece on the top and a small bezel at the bottom. The phone also has a seventh-generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor that has a large area that detects your fingerprint better for quicker and more accurate unlocking.

There is a 20-megapixel pop-up front camera that houses a notification light on the sides. The notification LED glows red on the carbon black variant. The company claims that the camera lens has sapphire glass protection to prevent it from scratches.

The left side chassis is clean and doesn’t house any component, power button and the volume rockers are on the right, the power button has a red accent on it.

The 3.5mm audio jack, secondary microphone, and the pop-up camera can be found on top. Speaker grill, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and a dual SIM slot can be found at the bottom, the phone doesn’t have support for expandable storage via Micro-SD card.

Triple rear cameras can be found on the back arranged in a vertical array including a 48 MP sensor, a wide-angle and a telephoto lens.

On top, there is a 1/4″ 8MP OV8856 telephoto lens with 1.12μm pixel size and f/2.4 aperture for 2x lossless zoom with a red accent ring around it. Below it, the primary shooter can be found, which is a 1/2″ 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.75 aperture, and laser autofocus capabilities followed by a 1/3″ 13MP Samsung S5K3L6 124.8° ultra-wide sensor with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture. A dual-LED flash flushed in the rear glass can also be found below the camera modules.

The rear 3D curved panel is also made up of glass and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, the smartphone also has P2i coating making it splashproof, it can withstand light rain, but can’t be immersed in water since it lacks IP rating. The rear glass on the Carbon Black variant doesn’t have aura prime design that is found on the Flame Red and Glacier Blue variant, there is a Kevlar pattern on the carbon black which isn’t very prominent but it gives the phone a simple yet professional look.

Apart from Carbon Black, Redmi K20 Pro is also available in Flame Red and Glacier Blue colors, it is priced at Rs. 27,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs Rs. 30,999. It goes on sale exclusively on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
