Google has updated its Gmail for iOS to support with the ability attach files directly from Google Drive. It will also tell you if your file isn’t shared with the person you’re sending it to so you can change the sharing settings before you send it. OnePlus One that runs on CyanogenMod 11S is already based on AOSP version of Android 4.4 (KitKat). Today OncePlus has released its own version of stock Android version 4.4.4 based on AOSP for those who prefer pure Android without any CyanogenMod customizations and features such as CM Account. The version 37 brings a flat user interface that makes navigation simpler and more streamlined. In addition to a few UI tweaks, Chrome beta for Android also gets simplified sign-in process.

Skype has updated Android app with support for syncing contacts from your phone’s address book. The 5.0 update will prompt users to add their phone number and verify it. It will use your contact list and find users with Skype accounts. After verifying your number the Skype app will use it to allow other users to find you.

After launching on iOS and Andorid, Uber has parked its car at the Windows Phone Store. The popular on demand car service has officially announced the release of Windows Phone. Prior to this, Uber users had to access the service via its mobile site. The Uber Windows Phone app is mostly similar to its iOS and Android counterpart barring few Microsoft Metro UI redesign.
Earlier this month Gameloft announced that the Modern Combat 5: Blackout would launch on Android, iPhone and iPad on July 24th. Recently Gameloft has announced that the game would also launch on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 this Thursday. Gameloft launched 16 games for Windows Phone 8 last year and would bring all upcoming HD titles to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 platforms immediately after they launch. Xiaomi Mi3 went on sale in India yesterday. The Indian variant runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box with MIUI ROM on top. Today the unit has received a major update to version KXDMIBE18.0 that brings new features, optimizations and fixes. This is a global update for the Mi3 that is already available in Malaysia, Philippines and more countries, where it launched the smartphone.
