vivo V21s, the company’s latest midrange 5G smartphone, has been announced in Taiwan. It packs a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz screen and a 44MP selfie camera with OIS support inside the U-shaped notch. The phone tends to be a selfie-focused one, as it has a dual LED flash and up to 4K recording support that’s backed by OIS+EIS technology.

According to the report, the market fell 10% year-on-year (YoY), with 43 million units shipped in Q3 2022, the lowest third-quarter shipment since 2019. India mobile phone shipments declined 15% YoY in Q3 2022: Counterpoint

According to the most recent Counterpoint Market Monitor data, smartphone shipments in India fell 11% year-on-year to over 45 million units in Q3 2022 (July–September). The YoY fall, the first for a third quarter, can be attributed to a high base last year due to pent-up demand in Q3 2021 as well as reduced consumer demand in the entry-tier and budget segments in Q3 2022. Global smartphone shipments declined 9.7% YoY in Q3 2022

According to preliminary figures from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, global smartphone shipments fell 9.7% to 301.9 million units in 3Q22. As economic uncertainty continues and global demand drops, smartphone shipments fell for the fifth quarter in a row. This was the worst drop ever for the third quarter.
