Vivo launched its V15 Pro smartphone in India last month for Rs. 28990. It has triple rear cameras that includes a 48-megapixel 1/2.25″ main sensor (12MP Effective Pixel) with f/1.8 aperture, which should be ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 8-megapixel AI 120-degree Super wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. Similar to most of the phones with 48MP sensor, this uses ‘four-in-one pixel’ technology to combine four adjacent pixels into a single 1.6μm large pixel. It has a 32-megapixel pop-up front camera with Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Vivo has introduced X27 and X27 Pro smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. The X27 has almost similar specifications as the V15 Pro that was launched in India recently, including a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 91.64% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 675 or 710 depending on the model with 8GB of RAM, however this comes with a 48MP rear camera with Sony IM586 sensor, 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and a 13-megapixel camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens. It has a 16-megapixel pop-up camera on the front.

We already know that Vivo is all set to introduce the X27 smartphone with triple rear cameras and a pop-up front camera in China on March 19th. Now images and specifications of the X27 Pro has surfaced. This shows a 32-megapixel pop-up camera along with flash, and a larger 6.7-inch FHD+ display with 93.16% screen-to-body ratio. As you can see in the image, the triple rear camera placement is in the middle in the X27 Pro.

After the launch of Y91, Vivo has launched Y91i, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Y series’ in India, which was introduced as Y91C in several countries. It has the same 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio Halo FullView display, is powered by Helio P22 Octa-Core 12nm SoC, 2GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.5, 8-megapixel front camera with support for face unlock, but this comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and lacks a fingerprint sensor.

Vivo today confirmed that it will introduce its X27 smartphone in China on March 19th. This will feature a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display without a notch and 91.64% screen-to-body ratio and an in-dispaly fingerprint scanner, same as the V15 Pro that was launched in India recently. Vivo smartphone with the model number V1829A revealed a 2.2GHz SoC, which could be Snapdragon 710 compared to Snapdragon 675 on the Indian version.

After the V15 Pro last month, Vivo has introduced the V15 smartphone in Thailand. It has a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with 90.95% screen-to-body ratio instead of Super AMOLED display on the V15 Pro, and is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 675. It retains the same 32-megapixel pop-up front camera, but this features a 12-megapixel rear camera with photosensitive units, instead of quad units. Other 5-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and an 8-megapixel camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens are retained.

Vivo’s iQOO brand has introduced its first gaming smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.41-inch Full HD+ water drop notch screen with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with liquid cooling, up to 12GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, secondary 13-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait shots. There is also a 12-megapixel camera on the front.

Vivo’s iQOO brand already confirmed that it will introduce its first smartphone on March 1st. Today the company has posted an image of the phone showing triple rear camera and two colors with patterns on the back. It already confirmed Snapdragon 855, up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 4000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, NFC, 4D gaming experience and support Super HDR for camera.

Vivo just launched V15 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the V series in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display without a notch with 2.2mm top and 1.75mm side bezels offering 91.64% screen-to-body ratio, features 32-megapixel pop-up front camera and the company says that the proximity and ambient light sensors are hidden under the display. Vivo says that the pop-up camera has 0.46 second elevating speed and the mechanism has been tested over 3lakh times. It is powered by Snapdragon 675 AIE with 6GB of RAM, Dual Turbo gaming mode, eSports mode for online gaming and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9.

Vivo announces new iQOO sub-brand for mobile phones
Vivo has announced iQOO, the company’s latest mobile phone sub-brand in China. The company has posted a teaser without saying when we can expect new mobiles under the sub-brand or what the iQOO means. Some reports from China say that the new brand will focus on premium mobile phones, while few reports say Vivo is getting into to gaming phone segment to take on Xiaomi, Nubia and others.
