Realme launched the Realme U1 in India back in November last year starting at Rs. 11,999. After price cuts during festive period, the phone has received a permanent price cut in the country. The 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version now costs Rs. 10,999, while the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 13,499 after a Rs. 1,000 price cut.

Realme has launched the C1 2019, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India, after teasing it last week. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, 2.05mm ultra narrow bezel, and 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. The company says that the screen bezel is further narrowed by 16%, the phone to achieve this high screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 450 with up to 2GB of RAM, runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Realme has started teasing the launch of new entertainment-focused smartphone in India exclusively on Flipkart. The teaser image shows a smartphone with a notch, similar to the Realme C1, and hints at huge storage to store videos such as TV series, best gaming experience and more.

Realme launched its Realme U1 smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 11,999. It went on sale exclusively on Amazon.in starting December 5th. Today, the company has announced that the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version will go on open sale starting from next Monday, December 17th. The next sale for 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version is scheduled for December 19th at 12 noon.

As promised recently, Realme has started rolling out ColorOS 5.2 stable OTA update in India. This brings several new features single swipe notification dismiss, Headset icon in status bar, Smart Bar for faster multitasking, Game Space, Recorder, and lots more.

Realme, at the launch of Realme U1 smartphone also introduced the Realme Buds, the company’s first earphones. These have 11 mm audio drivers that promise 160% louder bass. The company says that it is the first wired headphones in India to use magnetic locking in the price range, so that it make carrying and tidying the earphones easy. Realme already confirmed that it will launch the Realme U1, world’s first smartphone powered by MediaTek Helio P70 12nm SoC exclusively on Amazon.in on November 28th. It already said that it will feature Dewdrop notch that was introduced with the Realme 2 Pro and said that it will come with most powerful selfie camera ever for capturing flawless selfies. Now the specifications of the smartphone has surfaced online.

OPPO’s Realme brand already teased the Realme 2 Pro smartphone in a video recently and also said that the phone will launch on September 27th exclusively on Flipkart. The company has also confirmed some of the specifications including Snapdragon 660 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM and dual rear cameras with AI features, on its social channels. The phone will feature a Dewdrop Full Screen display with minimal bezels.
