Lenovo officially completed its take over of Motorola by releasing the Moto G4 and G4 Plus today with the name Motorola being ignored and preference given to Moto and Lenovo instead. The Moto brand still very much exists but is now part of Lenovo itself instead of a separate entity.

Motorola has introduced the Moto G4 Play, a budget 4G smartphone, few hours after it introduced the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, similar to the Moto G (3rd Gen), but this has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the phones have a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, are powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 SoC, run Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Live image of the upcoming Motorola Moto X (2016) smartphone surfaced back in December that revealed metal body for the smartphone. Now press images of the Moto X (2016) and the new Droid smartphone that will be heading to Verizon. The new images confirm the metal body and also reveals fingerprint sensor below the display on a huge bezel. There is also Laser autofocus on the back. There is also flash on the front. Even though some specifications of the smartphones were leaked already, new leak reveals that both the phones will have laser auto-focus and will be powered by Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core SoC.
