There are lot of 5-inch HD devices in the Indian market, but the iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt has a 4.7-inch HD display. It was launched last month at an MRP of Rs. 19995 and currently sells at a price tag of Rs. 17,990. Here we have the device. A 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels means it has a pixel density of 312 PPI, better than its competitors. Apart from the display other things are similar to most of the other smartphones in the similar range such as 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It  a 12-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED Flash and large 5-mgepixel front-facing auto focus camera. The box is huge as you can see in the unboxing video below.

iBall has launched the Slide i9018, a new tablet in the Slide series.  It has a has a 9-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capactive multi-touch IPS display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2. (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It  comes with Bluetooth support and an HDMI support, but it doesn’t have a SIM card slot. iBall has launched the Slide Q9703, the company’s latest tablet in the Slide Performance series. It has a 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) HD IPS 10 multi-touch retina display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel auto focus camera on the back and a  2-megapixel front facing camera. We reviewed the Zync Quad 9.7 that comes with similar features, but the Zync tablet is cheaper. This also includes 4K video player that lets you play videos at 4K resolution (4,096 × 2,304 pixels) on the tablet.

The iBall Andi 5L went on sale earlier this month, and the Andi 5Li appeared on the official website at the same time. Both these phones have a 5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and powered by a dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor. The Andi 5L runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the Andi 5Li comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).  These phones would also have dual SIM support. The Andi 5L comes  with Stylus support. Looks like iBall is getting ready to launch the company’s flagship Android smartphone, the Android 4.5d Quadro. The phone was spotted on the official website. It packs a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 12-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has dual microphones for noise reduction. The iBall Andi 5L went on sale last week and the Andi 5Li with Android 4.1 is expected to launch soon. Xolo is expected to launch the Q700 with a similar display, quad-core processor and Android 4.2 later this week. iBall Andi 5L, the company new Android smartphone in the Andi series is priced at Rs. 10,490 on online retail site Flipkart. This would be the company’s second Android smartphone with a 5-inch display after the Andi 5c that was released last August. Andi 5Li, an upgraded version of the Andi 5L has been spotted on the official iBall website. Both the Andi 5L and the 5Li would come with a 5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and powered by a dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor. The Andi 5L runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the Andi 5Li is expected to come with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) on-board. These phones would also have dual SIM support. iBall has launched Slide 6309i, a new tablet in the Slide series. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. iBall launched the Edu-Slide i1017 with a 10.1-inch HD IPS display last month. The HCL ME Y3 and the Byond Mi-book Mi7 has similar features, but both these tablets run on Android 4.0 and come with 3G support and voice calling features.
