Apple reports $11.56 billion profit on $58 billion revenue in FY Q2 2019, iPhone revenue down 17% YoY

Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $58 billion, down 5% over last year with a net profit of $11.6 billion, down 15.94% YoY and earnings per diluted share of $2.46 for the financial year Q2 2019 that ended March 30, 2019. Apple said to launch new 4.7-inch iPhone 8 with A13 processor in 2020

Qualcomm and Apple settle all worldwide litigation, sign multi-year chipset supply agreement

After two-year long battle, Qualcomm and Apple in a surprise move have announced an agreement to dismiss all litigation between the two companies worldwide. Qualcomm also said that worldwide litigation will be dismissed and withdrawn, including claims involving Apple’s contract manufacturers. Apple’s 2019 iPhones could come with 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays, triple rear cameras

Earlier this year a report said that Apple will launch three iPhones this year, including a high-end model with triple rear cameras. A new report from Mac Otakara says that the successor of the XS and XS Max will feature 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays, respectively and will pack triple rear cameras, citing supply chain sources from China.

Apple Music subscription prices reduced in India, now at Rs. 99 per month

Apple Music was launched in India in 2015 with three plans namely the Individual plan, Family plan, and Student plan. It was priced at Rs.120 per month, Rs. 190 per month and Rs.60 per month respectively. But today, Apple has announced price cuts on its range of plans and now the price starts at Rs.99 per month.
