This comes after some reports about issues with the iOS 11 including battery drain and slow downs. The latest update should provide smooth experience and potentially help with battery life. Apple replaces Bing search for Google on Siri and Spotlight

Apple has switched default provider of its Web searches for Siri on iOS and Spotlight on the Mac to Google from Microsoft’s Bing. Now, when you ask Siri to search the web, it will return Google results instead of Bing. Users are already seeing search results from Google on iPhone and Mac users.

After the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus got certified by TENAA in China, iPhone X has passed through the same regulatory body that reveals 2716mAh battery for the iPhone X, compared to the 2691mAh battery on the iPhone 8 Plus that was confirmed from teardown a few days back. In fact the  iPhone X has a compact body compared to iPhone 8 Plus. It also reveals 3GB of RAM, similar to the iPhone 8 Plus, as rumored earlier. Apple admits to LTE connectivity issues on the Watch Series 3

Apple recently announced the Watch Series 3 that supports LTE connectivity. However, it looks like there the smartwatch is facing issues with connectivity. According to a report from The Verge, the Apple Watch Series 3 struggled to connect to LTE and often linked to an unknown WiFi network instead.

Apple releases iOS 11 for iPhone and iPad, watchOS 4 for Apple Watch

Apple has released iOS 11, its latest operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users as it had promised and also released watchOS 4.0 for Apple Watch users. Announced at the WWDC in June this year, iOS 11 is compatible with iPhone 5s and later, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation, iPad mini 2 and later and iPod touch 6th generation. Apple already said that iOS 11 is optimized for 64-bit apps, so 32-bit apps will not work and need to be updated by the app developer to work with this version of iOS.

Several distributors such as Redington India, Ingram Micro and Brightstar Telecommunication already said that the phones will be available for pre-order from September 22nd, Friday across India and will go on sale from September 29th. Now Flipkart, who became authorized online reseller in India last year.  announced that it will start taking pre-orders for both the iPhones starting from September 22nd midnight.
