Kaspersky Launches Mobile Security for Blackberry and Android phones


Kaspersky has launched Mobile Security Solutions for Blackberry and Android phones. They have already launched Windows and Symbian version before. They are targeting consumer and corporate market. This offers features like Anti-Theft, Privacy Protection, Call & SMS Filter and Anti-Virus for your smartphones.During the launch Jagannath Patnaik, Director – Channel Sales, Kaspersky Lab, South Asia, said

Features of Kaspersky Mobile Security 9

  • Remotely Lock or Wipe your phone if it is lost or stolen by sending a SMS
  • Securely back up and wipe your data remotely if the device is stolen
  • Locate you phone using GPS, GSM or Wi-Fi and find the phone’s location on the map
  • SIM watch will block the device and mail or SMS the new number if the SIM card is replaced after its stolen
  • Filter calls and SMS from a particular contacts
  • Privacy protection feature lets you set contact list as private to hide their contact data, including call histories, contact list entries and SMSs.
  • Anti-Virus to prevent your phone from viruses and malwares
  • Parental lock blocks outgoing calls or SMSs to undesirable numbers and find phone’s location with GPS
