Twitter has introduced a new Inbox style wherein you will now see messages from people you follow in one section and Messages from the people you don’t follow in the ‘Requests’ setting in case you have enabled ‘Receive messages from anyone’. Twitter explains why it is ending support for outdated legacy APIs and developer tools

Twitter today announced that it is ending support for some outdated developer tools, after killing off the support for Twitter for Apple Watch and Twitter for Mac. In order to prioritize making the user experiences great, the company has decided to stop investing in other products including two legacy developer tools used by about 1% of third-party developers. Twitter reports $711 million revenue, 24% YoY growth in Q2 2018, has 335 million monthly active users

Twitter today announced financial results for its second quarter 2018. The company’s Q2 revenue totaled $711 million that is a solid increase of 24% year-over-year. Twitter introduces new developer requirements to prevent misinformation, removed over 143,000 apps in Q2 2018

Twitter advices its 336 million users to change the password over a bug

Twitter claims that it uses technology that masks the user passwords so that no one at the company can see them. However, the company has recently identified a bug that stored passwords unmasked in an internal log. But Twitter says that it has fixed the bug and a closed investigation ensures no sign of breach or misuse by anyone.
