Twitter is now bringing few much-needed features like night mode, Retweet and likes count, real-time updates to reply, and more to its Windows, Lite app and mobile site platforms. The company says that these updates are aimed at providing more consistency across platforms.

The new Tweet compose box makes it possible for you to move more easily between your Tweet and timeline, so all of your Tweets are on point. Night mode is already available on Android and iOS; now it is also rolling out to other platforms as well. This mode will change the color and theme of Twitter to dark so that you won’t hurt your eyes while tweeting late in the night.

The mobile site often needed to be reloaded to see the real-time Tweet replies, retweets, likes, but with the new update, it will all happen in the real-time without any reloads. It is also bringing the new Tweet compose box which makes it possible for you to move more easily between your Tweet and timeline, so all of your Tweets are on point.

These features are nothing new, except that they are now available on other platforms as well where Twitter is functional. Twitter says that these features are now rolling out to Twitter Lite, and Twitter for Windows.
