Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) with 4.5-inch qHD display, Android 5.0 announced

Motorola has announced Moto E (2nd Gen), successor of the first generation Moto E that was introduced last year. The new Moto E has a slightly larger 4.5-inch display, but has the same qHD resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, comes with 4G LTE connectivity and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It also comes with 3G variant (XT1505) that has a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC. Motorola Moto E LTE (2nd Gen) with Android 5.0 shows up on Best Buy

Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) with LTE support has surfaced on the Best Buy website, few weeks after the press renders of the smartphone surfaced online. This coincides with earlier leak that revealed 4.5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (could be Snapdragon 400) and 1GB of RAM. This is the single SIM variant, but it is likely to come in dual SIM variant as well depending on the market. Check out the complete specifications of the smartphone below. Moto E 2nd Gen running Android 5.0 Lollipop surface in renders

Renders of the second generation Moto E has surfaced online. Android Police has got hold of these images that shows a smartphone with a similar design of the Moto E that runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop). This doesn’t have a front-facing speaker, but has a front-facing camera that was not present in the first generation Moto E.
