Bolt 1.7 to support widgets
Bitstream Inc, the company behind Bolt Browser, today announced that the upcoming version of its BOLT mobile browser viz Bolt 1.7 will include the ability to run Web applications, more commonly referred to as “widgets”. The new BOLT Browser with widgets will be introduced in beta as a part of the upcoming BOLT v1.7, which will be on display at the Mobile World Congress on Feb 15, 2010. More than 41.7 million users and 18.8 billion pages viewed in 2009 – Opera Mini
Opera has published the State of the Mobile Web report of November 2009 statistics for Opera Mini, one of the most popular mobile browser.
According to Opera, the number of Opera Mini users has more than doubled to 41.7 million users in November 2009 from 16.4 million users in November 2008, which depicts the fact that the mobile web is expanding exponentially.
