The company was one of first to get into the wearable segment, but the likes of Apple and others have made life difficult for the firm. Asus has announced a new router at IFA in Berlin. The new product from the Taiwanese manufacturer carries the model number RT-AC5300 and according to the company, the router delivers the world’s fastest Wi-Fi speed.

ZTE introduced Axon Pro smartphone with 5.5-inch Quad HD screen in the U.S back in July and it introduced the Axon smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen in China later. At the IFA, the company has introduced the Axon smartphone as Axon Elite for global markets. It has Eyeprint ID, a password-free eye-based biometric unlocking solution that captures unique vein patterns in the human eye using the smartphone’s front facing camera, fingerprint sensor and voice control. Amkette has launched two new wired sports earphones – Pulse S6 and Pulse S8 under its Trubeats brand. These offer dynamic comfort level, effectively isolates external noise, and are sweat and water resistant since these are developed specifically to suit the workout regime, said the company. These have inline controls for volume adjustment, come with braided cable and angled connector offering more durability.

Bose has launched its second-generation SoundLink around-ear wireless headphones in India. It has multi-point option for connecting two devices at a time and lets you switching between music and calls. It also has NFC on the right earcup for quick pairing. It has advanced microphone system for calls, HD voice and adaptive audio adjustment technology for wind or noise. Volume is changed automatically based on speech level and changing environments, says Bose.
