HTC Myst Facebook phone and Facebook Home app details surface ahead of launch

While we are all waiting for the Facebook’s Android related event on April 4th, Android Police has got hold of the rumored Facebook phone’s ROM that reveals details about the HTC Myst Facebook phone and the new app called Facebook Home. The specifications of the HTC Myst matches with the specs that leaked last month that include a 4.3-inch 720p display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 processor, Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 4.5, 5MP rear camera, 1.6 MP front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. LG Optimus G Pro sales surpass half a million units

LG Optimus G Pro 500 thousand Korea

LG has announced that the sales (to supply channel) of their latest flagship, the Optimus G Pro has surpassed 500 thousand units in their home county Korea, in less than 40 days of launch. The LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled in February, that went on sale in Korea on February 21st. LG announced last month that they have sold over 10 million LTE smartphones globally, since their first LTE smartphone that was launched in Korea back in October 2011. The Optimus LTE sold 5,000 units on the first day of the launch, LG has announced they sold 10,000 units of the Optimus G Pro on the launch day. HTC Desire P with 4.3-inch display, 1 GHz dual-core processor announced

HTC has announced the Desire P, a new Android smartphone in Taiwan. It has a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen Super LCD2 display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. No details about the Android version, but it is likely to run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8MP auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash, BSI sensor for better low-light imaging and comes with Beats audio support. Huawei Ascend Y300 that was announced earlier this year at the MWC 2013 is now on pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 4.0-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei Emotion 1.0 UI. It has a 5MP auto focus camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. This is the successor of the Ascend Y200 that was launched last year. Huawei launched the Ascend Y210D with dual SIM support earlier this year. The Huawei Ascend G510 is also on pre-order along with the Y300. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei Emotion UI. It has a 5MP auto focus camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It has Huawei’s proprietary technology that enables boot in 5 seconds and has DTS Audio support. This mid-range phone lies between the Huawei Ascend G600 and the Ascend G330 that were launched earlier this year. Videocon VT75C, the company’s latest Android tablet with 2G and voice calling support is now available from Infibeam. It has a 7-inch ( 800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) . It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It has 2G voice calling support and data connectivity via SIM card slot, 3G support via USB dongle and packs a 3000 mAh battery. Most of the features in this tablet are similar to the Penta T-Pad WS707C that was launched in February.
