Samsung Galaxy Mega On (SM-G6000), the company’s upcoming mid-range smartphone has been certified on TENAA (Via) in China. It coincides with earlier rumors, confirming the specifications of the smartphone, including a 5.5-inch HD screen, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC, Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Google Nexus 5X (LG-H790 and LG-H791) visits FCC, reveals dimensions and LTE bands
The LG-made Google Nexus 5X (LG-H791) surfaced on Amazon.in earlier this week, and the press image surfaced a few days back, showing off the smartphone in Charcoal Black, Ice Blue and Quartz White colors, now the smartphone has visited the FCC (Via). This lists LG-H791 and LG-H790 models that confirm the dimensions, screen size and the LTE bands of the smartphone. UMi Fair with 5-inch HD display, 4G LTE, fingerprint sensor released for $99
UMi released Fair, its new budget smartphone yesterday, as it promised. It had already said that it is the most affordable smartphone with a fingerprint sensor. It features self-learning algorithm, can store up to 5 fingerprints and will unlock the phone in just 0.32 seconds with over 99% accuracy, said the company. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX164 sensor, dual LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. BlackBerry CEO John Chen today confirmed that BlackBerry Priv Android smartphone will launch by the end of 2015 in major markets in-store and online, along with the FY Q2 2016 earnings. Huawei has released Android 5.1 (Lollipop) update for the Honor 4C and Honor 6 smartphones in India. The Honor 4C actually got the update on September 21st, earlier this week, and the Honor 6 got the update today, as the company promised last month. Uber now masks phone numbers of riders and drivers in India
Uber has rolled out new safety feature in India that secures the phone numbers of the riders and drives for a better privacy. This feature is already available in OLA, India’s largest cab hire service.
