Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update starts rolling out

Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the international version of the Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) starting from Spain. Samsung is rolling out the Android 4.1.2 update for the S2 directly, skipping the Android 4.1.1 that rolled out for the Galaxy S3 back in September starting from Poland, and rolled out in India in November. Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy S3 is yet to roll out in India.

The Jelly Bean update would bring faster performance with project butter, new Nature UX similar to the Galaxy S3 , 2 Homescreen modes, Google Now service, contextual search, Better notifications, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Pop-up play and more.

Samsung announced the list of devices that would get the Android Jelly Bean update back in back in September 2012. The Galaxy S2 got the ICS update in March, that rolled out in India in May 2012. Hope Samsung rolls out the Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy S2 users in India soon.
