Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition in India, as it had promised.
It comes in a new crimson reserve color with a leather-inspired finish, providing a tactile, high-end feel. The bold red back is complemented by a gold-colored mid-frame, adding a distinct touch of sophistication. It also comes in Frosted White with a minimal marble look and the Carbon Black.
The device retains the top-centered, squircle-shaped camera layout seen in the standard model, but the deco is color-matched to the red and gold theme, complete with individual lens rings.
This has a 50MP rear camera replacing the 108MP camera in the REDMI 15 and also replaces the 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 2MP depth sensor. However, this gets a bigger 5800mAh silicon-carbon battery while retaining 45W fast charging.
Other specifications are similar, including a 6.77-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3200 nits peak brightness, a 7.35mm sleek body, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, a 20MP front camera, Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top, IP65 + IP66 dust and splash resistance ratings, and military-grade durability.

The REDMI Note 15 SE 5G is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 22,999
