Qualcomm Technologies has introduced the Qualcomm X105 5G Modem-RF, the industry’s first 3GPP Release 19-ready modem designed for high-performance 5G Advanced and as a foundation for future 6G deployment.
The platform is intended for use across smartphones, PCs, XR devices, automotive, robotics, fixed wireless access (FWA), and industrial IoT. The X105 integrates Qualcomm’s 5th-generation 5G AI Processor to optimize network performance and data traffic management in real-world scenarios.

The X105 Modem-RF combines a next-generation modem-RF architecture with agentic AI capabilities. It introduces the first 6nm RF transceiver, quad-frequency GNSS, and integrated satellite connectivity. The modem supports peak download speeds of 14.8 Gbps and peak upload speeds of 4.2 Gbps on sub-6GHz bands. It is designed to enhance performance, efficiency, and spectrum flexibility across multiple device categories.

Availability
