After rumours, Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy Unpacked in-person event will happen in San Francisco on February 25th, 2026. The Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphones are expected at the event.
Samsung has started pre-reservations for the phone in India on the Samsung India Store. You can pay Rs. 999 to reserve it, and those who pre-book will get an assured voucher worth Rs. 2699, says the company.
Even though the launch date in India and the price have not been announced yet, Samsung said that it will be the pre-reservations open till February 25th 2025 11:30PM.

- While paying for the next Galaxy device, your purchase value will be adjusted by Rs. 999 (Amount which you have paid to pre-reserve)
- If the coupon is not utilized till the pre-booking period, it will stand automatically cancelled and the pre-reserve amount will be refunded to the original source of payment.
These are just the pre-reserve offers, and the sale offers should be revealed during the sale after the launch. As usual, the company will hold Samsung Live, where users will get more offers and an early delivery for the orders.
What to expect from the Galaxy S26 series?
The S26 and S26+ models in the lineup are expected to feature the latest Exynos 2600 2nm SoC in most markets, while the S26 Ultra will exclusively use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. These are expected to use a familiar camera setup and up to 16GB of RAM for the 1TB variant of the Ultra model.
The phones are expected to get Qi2 wireless charging support via a magnetic charging case, with the S26 Ultra supporting up to 25W wireless charging and 60W wired charging for the first time.
