Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could support 60W fast charging

Samsung’s upcoming flagship lineup has appeared in several recent leaks, with focus on the Ultra variant ahead of its expected launch next month. Tipster Ice Universe claims the next Ultra model will receive a charging upgrade. In a post on X, the tipster said the device could support 60W wired fast charging, reaching up to 75% in around 30 minutes.

The charging figures were reportedly achieved under Samsung’s controlled laboratory conditions using certified accessories and standard settings. Actual charging speeds may vary depending on ambient temperature, battery health, and device usage.

If accurate, this would be an increase over the previous Ultra model, which supports 45W wired charging. In our testing of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the 45W fast charging fully replenishes the battery in approximately 1.5 hours. Battery capacity on the upcoming Ultra is expected to be 5,200mAh, though some reports suggest it may remain at 5,000mAh.

Last month, Samsung introduced a new 60W charger, believed to be intended for its upcoming flagship devices. Unconfirmed reports point to a possible wireless charging upgrade from 15W to 25W, along with magnetic case support. The 60W wired charging upgrade is said to be exclusive to the Ultra, while the Galaxy S26 may retain 25W charging, and the Galaxy S26+ may continue with 45W.

As with all early leaks, these details should be treated cautiously until officially confirmed. Samsung is expected to announce its next flagship smartphone series later this month or in February 2026.
