HONOR has officially announced the regional launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the HONOR Magic8 Pro, for the GCC market, after it was introduced in October. During an event held in Dubai, the company detailed the device’s specifications, highlighting its focus on AI-powered imaging, battery life, and next-generation connectivity.
Hardware and Performance
The HONOR Magic8 Pro is the first smartphone in the UAE to feature the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. The company claims this new chipset offers improved processing efficiency and thermal performance compared to previous generations.
Powering the device is a 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery. In terms of connectivity, HONOR announced that the Magic8 Pro is the first 5.5G-ready smartphone available in the UAE market, supported by partnerships with regional telecom operators including Etisalat by e&.
The device also integrates several AI-driven productivity tools, including an AI Button, AI Search, and AI Documents.
Camera Specifications
Imaging capabilities were a central focus of the launch. The Magic8 Pro is equipped with a 200MP AI Ultra Night Telephoto camera, designed to improve clarity in long-distance and low-light shots.
The camera system includes an upgraded AI Ultra Night Portrait mode, which utilizes algorithms to manage exposure and color accuracy. Additionally, the phone features “AI Magic Color” and a new “AI Editor” to allow users to optimize colors and edit images directly on the device.
During the keynote, photographer and videographer Riadh Maghni presented a demonstration of the device’s performance in low-light environments.

Pre-orders for the HONOR Magic8 Pro begin on December 11, 2025, across the UAE. The device is available in two storage configurations and three color options: Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black.
