OPPO Reno14 Series to launch in India on July 3


After teasers, OPPO has confirmed the launch of its Reno14 Series – Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro in India on July 3rd. The company already highlighted the design and the IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings for the phones.

OPPO Reno14 Series features

OPPO also confirmed that the Reno14 Pro will feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with 93.6% screen-to-body ratio and 6.59-inch screen with a 93.4% ratio for the Reno14 and added that it will come with 3840Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+ certification.

Today, the company has confirmed MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB storage, 50MP main camera with 1/1.55″ OmniVision OV50E sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), 50MP OV50D 116° ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera with JN5 sensor with a 80mm equivalent focal length, 6200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC wired and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging for the Reno14 Pro smartphone. These are similar to the Chinese model.

The Reno14 Pro supports 4K HDR video recording at 60fps on its front and rear cameras, across its main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses. There is Stage Mode that enhances voice clarity by suppressing ambient noise.

Both the phones will feature a 50MP JN5 front camera with autofocus. The Reno14 will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 1.95-inch sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, the same 50MP telephoto module.

AI features

AI Editor 2.0 has AI Recompose that automatically adjusts the aspect ratio, crops the image, and offers multiple professionally composed version. AI Perfect Shot scans local photos, learns unique facial features and builds realistic replacements. The AI Style Transfer lets you apply visual styles from reference photos.

AI Livephoto 2.0 on the Reno14 Series ensures users never miss dynamic moments. Capture children playing Holi in Mathura or folk dancers at the Hornbill Festival in Nagaland, the dual exposure hardware fusion reduces shutter lag and shortens exposure time to freeze fast-paced motion with clarity.

Livephoto Export allows users to extract the perfect still from a short clip, enhance it using the super-resolution algorithm, or save it as a ProXDR image that preserves HDR tone and detail for professional-quality output. AI Flash Livephoto further enhances low-light photography by dynamically adjusting flash behaviour in real-time.

OPPO’s new Triple Flash Array uses three individually tuned LED flash modules optimised for different lenses. Two high-intensity flashes double brightness at one metre for main and ultra-wide shots,

The OPPO Reno14 series will be available from Flipkart, Amazon.in, OPPO India online store and offline stores after the launch.
