Sony has launched the BRAVIA 5 series televisions in India, following the recent release of the BRAVIA 8 II series. The BRAVIA 5 series is available in 55″, 65″, 75″, and 85″ screen sizes.
BRAVIA 5 series
The BRAVIA 5 series is powered by the Advanced AI Processor XR, which uses artificial intelligence and cognitive intelligence to analyze and process content based on human visual and auditory perception. This approach aims to deliver more natural images and improved picture quality.
It includes XR Backlight Master Drive technology that provides brighter highlights and deeper blacks for a wider dynamic range. The TVs support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos to provide enhanced picture and sound quality with richer colors, higher contrast, and spatial audio.
The BRAVIA 5 series includes Studio Calibrated Mode to deliver images as content creators originally designed them. It supports Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode, Sony Pictures Core Calibrated Mode, and introduces Prime Video Calibrated Mode, which optimizes picture quality for movies, series, and live sports. The Sony Pictures Core feature offers access to Sony Pictures movies in high image quality and enhanced formats.
