OPPO India teased the upcoming Reno14 Series, highlighting its nature-inspired design and strong durability.
Nature-Inspired Premium Design
The Reno14 Series combines sleek design with durability, using ultra-thin bezels, a single glass back, and an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. A key highlight is the iridescent glow finish, created through a 12-layer micro-patterned coating—double the complexity of earlier Reno models—producing vibrant, color-shifting reflections across red, blue, gold, silver, and more.
- The Pearl White variant debuts OPPO’s first Velvet Glass, crafted via a 65-step cold-sculpting process that doubles engraving and polishing time for a seamless, anti-smudge finish.
- Titanium Grey offers a matte base with reflective accents, while Forest Green stands out with a glowing camera ring using offset printing and light-tuned layering.
Built for Durability
Drawing inspiration from sea sponges, OPPO’s Sponge Armor Body cushions internal components by absorbing and distributing shock from accidental drops.
Reinforced with a lightweight aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, the Reno14 Series remains slim—measuring 7.42mm on Pearl White and Forest Green variants, and up to 7.58mm on the Pro model—while staying cool under pressure, perfect for intensive use.
The phones carry high-grade IP ratings:
- IP66: Splash protection
- IP68: Protected for 30 mins underwater at 1.5m (tested to 2m).
- IP69: Withstands high-pressure, high-temperature water jets
A platinum-coated USB port prevents corrosion, and support for 4K underwater video makes the Reno14 Series ready for monsoons or poolside shots.
Display Features
The Reno14 Pro comes with a 6.83-inch OLED display at 1.5K resolution and a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio, while the Reno14 offers a 6.59-inch screen with a 93.4% ratio. Both offer slim bezels, 120Hz refresh, 1200 nits brightness, and support for glove touch.
Designed for extended viewing, the displays include 3840Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+ certification, and native support for HD playback on Netflix and Prime Video.
Launch Timeline
While OPPO’s official store has listed a “notify me” page, the launch date is yet to be revealed. However, the Reno14 Series is expected to be officially announced next month.
