Realme 6i with Helio G80, 48MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery to be announced on March 17


After rumors, Realme has confirmed that the realme 6i, successor of the realme 5i will be introduced in Myanmar on March 17th. The company has confirmed 48MP quad rear cameras for the phone. It also said that this will be the world’s first phone with MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which is a slight upgrade to the MediaTek Helio G70 12nm SoC that was introduced on the realme C3 last month.

The phone with the model number RMX2040 has already been certified by the FCC revealing notch display, compared to punch-hole display in the realme 6i. It also reveed rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port.

The phone is said to come with 18W charger, 5000mAh battery and a USB Type-C port. It measures 164.4 x 75.x 9.0mm and weighs 195g. It will likely run Android 10 with realme UI and feature HD+ screen like the Realme C3. The phone has dual SIM support, Wi-Fi b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.
