Samsung is all set to launch Jio Preview Offer in partnership with Reliance Jio soon. This offer will be available for select Samsung smartphones and will let you enjoy unlimited HD voice & video calls, unlimited SMS, unlimited 4G data and Jio Premium apps for 90 days / 3 months.
This was first reported by TechPP. We have confirmed this with our sources and also from a couple of Reliance Digital stores. We were also able to signup for the offer.
The offer is available for Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge Plus, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Note 5 / Note 5 Duos, Galaxy Note 4 Galaxy A8, Galaxy A5 2015 and A5 2016 and Galaxy A7 2015 and A7 2016.
To get the offer, you need to download the MyJio app on any of these eligible smartphones, check if the offer is available in your location, generate the offer code, which includes a bar code, choose identity and address proof that you are going to submit and collect your SIM at a Reliance Digital or Dx Mini Store nearby after submitting the identity, address proof and your photograph.
One you insert the SIM in your Samsung phone, you need to dial 1977 to activate your Jio SIM through tele-verification. You will receive message on your mobile number and your email ID once the activation is complete.
According to latest reports, Reliance Jio is all set to launch its 4G services across India commercially on August 15th.
