Sony Xperia Z3+ global roll out begins this week

Sony Xperia Z3 Plus

Sony unveiled the Xperia Z3+ smartphone last month. Today the company has announced that it will start rolling out the smartphone globally starting from this week. Sony recently sent out press invites for an event in India on June 26th, where the company is expected to launch the Xperia Z3+ smartphone.

Sony Xperia Z3 Plus

The Xperia Z3+ has the same 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display present on the Z3, but this is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and is just 6.9mm thick. It has Sony’s Omni balance design with glass back and aluminium frame. There is also a Dual SIM variant, so we can expect the Xperia Z3+ dual to launch in India.

It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, BIONZ image processing engine, 4K video recording and a 5.1-megapixel 1080p front-facing camera with EXMOR R sensor and digital image stabilization. It has IPX5 / IPX8 ratings for dust and water resistance and doesn’t have covering for USB. It also has Sony’s new LDAC audio compression codec.

It has 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal straoge, expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD card and packs a 2930mAh Battery. We will know the pricing tomorrow, if the company launches the Xperia Z3+ dual smartphone in the country at the event.
