Opera introduced free built-in VPN for developer version with 256-bit encryption last month. Today is has released Opera developer 39 that brings a dedicated power saving mode. “This is designed to extend laptop battery life by up to 50% compared with Google Chrome or older version of Opera. Depending on your type of hardware, it can mean several hours more browsing before you need to recharge your laptop,” says the company. Google has released a new update for Android app that brings Tap to Translate to instantly translate text within any app on your Android phone using the new Tap To Translate button that appears once you copy . This was first announced last year for Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) devices and is now available for devices running Android 4.2 (Jellybean) and later.

Instagram has finally rolled out its new black and white design for all the Android and iOS users, after beta testing it on Android couple of weeks back. Microsoft has released its Word Flow Keyboard for iPhone users as a part of its Garage project, as it had promised earlier this year, after the closed beta. It has several customization options, including Arc mode for easy, ergonomic one-handed typing using left or right hand. It currently supports only English, but it will add more languages in the future and also get more themes. A month after rolling out Android Marshmallow update for Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium last month, Sony Mobile has started rolling out Android 6.0.1 update for its Xperia Z2 and Z3 series. The update is currently live for the Xperia Z2 (D6503 only), Xperia Z3 (D6603 only) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803 only). These phones were part of the beta program and the final version of the firmware has the same build number (23.5.A.0.570) as beta. Microsoft, as a part of its Garage Project released Hub Keyboard for Android back in February, now the app is available for iPhone users. It gives you quick access to all important documents and contacts, and do multi-tasking without exiting the app, lets you share URLs of Office 365 documents in OneDrive and SharePoint and the Contacts icon allows you to search for a contact to get their address, phone number, or other details without exiting the app.
