Vivo Y55L with 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 430, 4G VoLTE launched in India for Rs. 11980

Vivo has launched Y55L, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Y Series’ in India. It also announced Kent Cheng as the new CEO for its India Operations. He joined Vivo early this year. “He has been instrumental in the brand’s overall journey and has been contributing to making it a world class enterprise,” said the company.

Coming to the Y55L, it has a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 2.6 on top, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for screen flash.

It has dedicated SIM slots, split-screen feature for multitasking and a unique eye protection mode that ensures comfortable screen brightness by reducing blue light that causes strain on the eyes.

The Vivo Y55L comes in Gold and Space Grey colors and is priced at Rs. 11,980. It will be available across India from October 15th.
